The Spark Button
In 2016, during the European Championships and Copa America, Nike launched the Spark Brilliance campaign. The campaign we created to celebrate Nike’s key athletes, such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Raheem Sterling and Gerard Pique, as well as encourage young footballers to go out and spark brilliance on the pitch. When Nike athletes produced moments of magic, Nike instantly announced it to the world by sharing The Spark Button animated shorts. The button was symbolic, designed to represent the instant the players decided to change the game and ‘Spark Brilliance’.
