FROM THE CITY TO THE DESERT
A few years ago, we were both drawn thousands of miles from our homes to chase the “American Dream” in New York City. The greatest city in the world™ delivered, providing the setting for us to meet and our relationship to flourish. But, like many city-dwellers during the pandemic, we left our beloved city for more space and headed West to explore Utah’s wilderness. “Outdoorsy” Jordan reconnected with her native state, and Ricky was blown away by the other-worldly grandeur (i.e. the infinite droning opportunities). Southern Utah became a special place for both of us, and now we’re very excited to make it even more special by sharing it with you!

THE JOURNEY
Home base for the weekend will be Springdale, Utah – a small town just outside the entrance to Zion National Park.
ACCOMODATION
We’re working on securing room blocks in Springdale. We hope to have as many guests as possible at one hotel, but we’re figuring out capacity constraints. Thankfully, there are many options in the area that are all within walking distance from one another.
As Zion is a very popular summer destination and our wedding is during peak season, we recommend making your hotel reservations as soon as we secure our block. Last-minute options can be harder to come by and more expensive.
Check out the Accomodation section for more details.
TRAVEL
Though Springdale is a small town, it welcomes over 4.5 million Zion visitors a year from all over the world. Rest assured there are plenty of ways to get there.
It’s a straight-forward 2.5-hour drive from Las Vegas (LAS), 4-hour drive from Salt Lake City (SLC), and 6-hour drive from Los Angeles (LAX). There are also direct flights to just outside Zion (St. George Airport) from LA, San Francisco, New York, and Miami.
Check out the FAQ section for more details about transportation.

OUR WEDDING, YOUR ADVENTURE
Since most people are coming from far away, we highly recommend making a longer vacation out of it. As well as the major US cities (Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Chicago, Miami etc.), there are many other nearby drivable options to choose from – The Grand Canyon, the four other Utah National Parks (Bryce Canyon, Arches, Capitol Reef, and Canyonlands), Wyoming, Montana, Palm Springs… there’s something for everyone!
